SYNOPSIS
Enter the dazzling world of the birth of a new coming of age super action hero, “Serpent Man.” Danny Hampton is an athletic and moderately popular high school kid humbled by his deprived upbringing caused by the loss of his father and the ensuing drug addiction of his mother.
Determined not to live in the shadows, Danny’s positive inner spirit captivates the school mates that surround him. Madeline comes from a solid upper middle class family and has captured Danny’s heart – and yes, they are in love.
Somewhat haunting Danny’s genuine integrity is Darnell, a fellow school student drug pusher for his father (Clancy Riker), who becomes the ultimate behind the scenes evil fighting antagonist.
Over three thousand years ago, a Greek goddess created a magical serpent mask to ward off evilness on the high seas. The battle between goodness and evil became so destructive that the goddess created a book, “Mask of the Serpent,” to forever harness the two dueling powers until the book was stolen several years ago by Alexandrous.
Thought to be dead on the beach, a mysterious sea serpent comes ashore to lay her nest of eggs and infects Danny, which gives him limited supernatural power.
Dr. Sinclair is an oceanographer who has been on a journey to track down mysterious sea serpents and has a particular interest in the creature that infected Danny. High upon a cliff overlooking the ocean, Alexandrous now decides its time to unleash the “noble good” spirit contained within the book and gives birth to “Serpent Man.”
However, what Alexandrous doesn’t know is that the book contains the opposing evil spirit that manages to force its release and embodies “Riker” who eventually becomes the wicked “Serpent Slayer.”
